Expert Workshop: The Building Blocks of Behaviour Design
An evening workshop with behaviour design studio Dura. Places are limited so be sure to book your place in advance here.
Dura Founder and Design-psychologist, Lauren Kelly, will introduce behaviour design and demonstrate some of the tools available, bringing the insights of how people think and how people act to where it is needed most – to products and services used by people.
Behaviour Design by Dura
About the workshop
Behaviour Design uses behavioural science to change human behaviour. Taking insights from cognitive neuroscience, psychology and behavioural economics. It can be used to improve products and services across consumer behaviour, organisational behaviour and public behaviour.
Behaviour change isn’t just about the larger scale, like encouraging people to save for retirement. It can also be used at the smaller scale to improve user experience. Things like automatically changing audio levels when you plug in headphones to protect people’s hearing to a healthy eating app that intervenes when it detects your location is near a McDonalds.
At Dura, we design for long-lasting behaviour change – in businesses, service design and UX design. In this workshop, we will share some of the internal tools we use to unpack people’s behaviours, design interventions and create better and more effective design solutions.

More about Ladies, Wine & Design:
Jessica Walsh started Ladies, Wine & Design after doing a lot of thinking and reading on why there are so few women creative directors. She believes we can change that through mentorship and championing others' work.
'Numbers show that there's a very small percentage of women leading the creative industry. However, I find the people I'm inspired by most are often other talented ladies.'
At LWD, we'll wine, dine, and have casual conversations on a wide variety of topics relating to creativity, business, and life. Evenings include special guest hosts, workshops, and local studio visits…
If you're a female student or creative and would like to join Ladies, Wine & Design, or are interested in updates, please join the LWD mailing list.
