Mastercard: Thrive Street Masterclasses
Thrive Street is part of Strive UK - an initiative of the Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth - which aims to empower micro and small businesses in the UK to succeed in the digital economy through free guidance, helpful tools, and personalised, one-to-one mentoring. The programme is run in partnership with Enterprise Nation, Digital Boost and Be the Business, and has been designed to complement Government initiatives such as Help to Grow.
By the end of 2022, the Strive UK programme had helped more than half a million small business owners.
Strive UK is hosting its second edition of ‘Thrive Street’ in Manchester which will run between Wednesday 7th – Monday 12th June.
On Wednesday 7th June, small business owners, employees of these businesses, and entrepreneurs are openly invited to attend a series of free business ‘Masterclasses’. The purpose of these Masterclasses is to improve growth prospects for SME owners, as well as grow their network with other entrepreneurs within their community. The day will be split out into five 30-45 minute sessions, presented by business experts from diverse backgrounds. In each Masterclass, speakers will cover a range of topics including social media, creative marketing, accessing alternative finance, and pitching for investment.
You’re also invited to stay for a networking session that will take place immediately after the masterclasses, from 5pm – 7pm, to meet like-minded business owners facing similar challenges.
